Welcome

I trust that you enjoy the journey of worship this morning.  For those of you new to this format, clicking on the underlined text, will direct you to a YouTube clip for a song, or, in the case of prayer, to a download of a short document to help you.  To get back to this page, either click on the back arrow key or close the document.

So blessed to have Ryan Davis share this with us this week.  Hearing him today really encouraged me.  I am sure that God will use him mightily to bring people to Jesus, just like Andrew brought Philip to see the LORD.

Just a reminder, Prayer Day is on May 2nd.  We won’t be meeting at the Church, but let me encourage you to pray at home or at a quiet place.  Please register via the sign-up sheet.  Access it through this link: https://1drv.ms/x/s!Anx9MQ9wl3BjjZ1qnsXXN3kg5KpXbQ?e=qFz8ot

Thanks Ryan, love when we discuss the Lord’s prayer, and break this down in to managable ‘bites for better understanding. Great showing the connection to Richards message from last week and cleaning the heart.

Thanks Mel, some good points to focus on in prayer today specifically in relation to now and standing in other shoes..

Thank you Hellene. It is so encouraging to read your responses to the message and the other aspects of the service. You are certainly using that gift amongst us. 🙂

Thanks for your message, Ryan. How amazing is it that we are connected to each other, the saints of all time (past and present), and that God continues to build each of us as clay and mud bricks into the glory of His house. The Lords Prayer has been on my heart, too. God continues to build the harmony under the melody of our everyday lives. Let us pray and bring more earthquakes for Whyalla! Bless you all today!

Thank you Yvonne. It is amazing how God is able to bring glory for Himself even out of imperfect people and imperfect times; how God can even use what the enemy desires for our worst into something for His best. I need to be reminded that His ways are not my ways and His thoughts not my thoughts so that I might remember that His word never returns to God without accomplishing that for which it was sent (Isaiah 55:8-11).

Thanks Karol. Prayer is such an incredible blessing that is not bound by time or place. You are so right when you say we can pray anywhere.

Great message this morning Ryan, thanks Richard for allowing this opportunity 🙂 Looking forward to hearing from God this Saturday during prayer day and learning more about how to be ‘In-Step’ with Him and His heart.

Thanks Tess. I thought Ryan’s message linked well with prayer day. This is a great opportunity for us to press into our Father. I love that we don’t pray for God to show us the great work to be involved in but that prayer is that great work! Looking forward to Saturday!

If only we would remember it! Lord may it be the knees of my pants and not the seat of my pants that gets worn out.

Thanks for the message Ryan, always encouraged by your love for God. It was great to be reminded of Jesus’ invitation to call his Father our Father and the personal nature of our relationship with Him. I also look forward to including prayers of repentance in my prayers as you mentioned. Let His will be done this week!
