Jonah’s prayer from the belly of a great fish concludes with the cental thoughts of the book, “Those that cling to worthless idols, forfeit the grace that could be theirs …. Salvation comes from the Lord.” This message encourages us to let go of any idols that we might have lurking in the closet somewhere, and to cling with both hands to the salvation God has for us.
