Continuing through Mark 8, this message looks at faith through the lens of following Jesus as He descibes it in verse 34-38. The divine must that accompanied Jesus’ description of the Messiah also accompanies the one who has faith in Jesus. They must deny themselves, and must take up their cross. But for the follower of Jesus, the imperative comes with the promise of eternal life.
