From Psalm 85, Pastor helps us to unpack the peace that God give through the salvation that comes through Jesus. He challenges us to listen to God and not to return to the folly that we need saving from, a folly that includes fear of anything other than fear of the LORD God. But rather, through a healthy fear of God, we are encouraged to completely embrace the salvation God has for us. In Jesus, God’s righteousness and peace kiss, His love and faithfulness come together.
