After addressing the issue of prayer and power, the pastor talks about God hearing all prayers. It would seem from Ezekiel 14:1-6, and from the story of scripture that things like entrenched sin and idolatry, gain a response from God that has little to do with what might be asked. And that response is “repent”. On the other hand God is committed to respondning to the prayers that arise from a broken heart and a contrite spirit (Psalm 51:1, Isaiah 57:15). 

Does God hear all prayers? What if the answer is no?
