After sharing honestly about some of those reasons, Brett rests on what is probably most significant for Whyalla Baptist Church – that we are in a time of transition where God is moving us from one point to another. Responses can often be negative, but drawing from what happens in nature, and the lessons learned specifically from wetlands on the River Murray, Brett encourages us to see the value in the dry times and to use them to trust and rely on God, to study God’s Word deeply, to keep praying and to keep praising God, for in the end it is God who brings the release of “water”.
