In this message, Pastor Richard talks about prayer that appears to be just from people to God, prayer that appears to be a conversation with God, and prayer that ends up as obedeince to God’s hearts desire. All three of these ways to pray are important and necessary. We see all of them in the Scriptures and are even commanded to pray in those ways. We find that prayer is not, a person’s work to get God to cooperate in giving them their heart’s desire. It is, rather, as the Australian Prayer Network say “Prayer is God’s work to gain a person’s cooperation to achieve what God’s hearts desires.” All three ways to pray are important in building the relationship that gets people to cooperate with God’s hearts desire.
